High Consumption of salt
According to Ayurveda, everyone has to face inflammation in the body at some point or the other. It causes pain and sometimes become stubborn diseases like arthritis in body. Using too much salt can cause swelling in the body . Salt make the water stay in body parts and cause pain and swellng. Ayurveda says salt could imbalance Dosha in body.
Excess amount of water in the body
Sometimes we suddenly feel that our body has started swelling a lot than before. 20 to 30 percent of people are suffering from this disease. Sometimes the whole body and sometimes only some organs get swollen. In most of the cases it does not remain permanently. The swelling ends after a few hours or days, this is due to the increase in the amount of water in the body.
Due to any disease in the body
The swelling and pain in the body can also happens due to heart related diseases, kidney problems, imbalanced hormones and consumption of steroid medicines! It has always been said in Ayurveda that one disease gives rise to another disease. Due to any particular disease in the body, it is natural for swelling to come!
Sprained feet, walking long distances
Swelling can occur even if there is a sprain in the feet, it is natural to have swelling in the feet even if you walk a long distance. Even then your feet may swell or you may have swelling due to sprains in your feet. Apart from this, even if you sit with your feet hanging for a long time, your feet may swell.
If there is a problem of high blood pressure
According to Ayurveda, people who have high blood pressure can also suffer from the problem of inflammation or swelling and the pain in body . The problem of high blood pressure is responsible for many other diseases in body. Because the blood pressure imbalance trigger the imbalance of Vata and Kapha dosha in body.
